When buying tires for your car, doubts always arise. Given the full range of brands and features, it isn’t very easy to know which one best suits your car. Should I change my summer tires for winter ones? Do the All-Season tires fit my needs?
All-Season tires or “4 seasons tire“, is the one you can use throughout the year, both in winter and summer. During the winter months, ice is produced on the road, causing a lack of wheel traction with the asphalt. The winter tires are born from the need to offer a good grip on snow and wet asphalt. In Spain, it is not mandatory to carry this type of tires, although it recommended if you live or move to places where temperatures are very low in winter. This result happens in very specific areas. Therefore its use in our country is not very common.
However, All-Season tires combine new technologies and compounds that allow them to be effective both in winter and in summer. Its objective is the balance between temperature and pavement changes to avoid having to change from summer tires to winter tires. However, these tires are not recommended with a lot of snow, although in temperate regions where there is no heavy snowfall.
Do not forget that it is advisable to consult a specialist before deciding a tire model or another one.
